The Bondi to Coogee Walk is one of Sydney’s most popular walks with beautiful beaches, cliff tops and cafes to discover. Beginning at the iconic Bondi Beach, walk along the coastline where you will pass by other beaches and rock pools including Tamarama Beach, Bronte Beach, Clovelly and Coogee Beach. Highlights of the walk include Gordon’s Bay with its narrow beach lined with fishing boats and Waverley Cemetery which has picturesque views. During winter, you can even spot humpback whales making their migration north to warmer waters.

The Spit Bridge to
Manly Walk provides you with a scenic tour of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. You’ll
get to see secluded beaches, stunning ocean views, native bushland and
fantastic water views. A beautiful lookout at Dobroyd Head is where you will
see panoramic views of Sydney Harbour with the North Head and South Head. From
Castle Rock to Reef Bay, you can find Aboriginal rock art including a kangaroo
and a whale dating back to over a thousand years.

The Royal National
Park is Australia's oldest national park. Located in the southern part of
Sydney, one of the many walks in the National Park is the Bundeena to Wedding
Cake Rock walk that starts at Beachcomber Avenue in Bundeena. Marvel at the
beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs and stop at The Balconies which has a
big open area with rocky sandstone layers. Take photos of the panoramic views
of the stunning Royal National Park coastline. In June and July, whales are
often seen breaching in the water. The final destination is Wedding Cake Rock
which is now fenced off due to the fragile nature of the rock. The white rock
formation is truly a unique sight to see and admire.

Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park - Aboriginal Heritage Walk

Beginning at the Resolute picnic area in the West Head precinct of Ku-ring-gai
Chase National Park, there are historic Aboriginal art markings that have been
estimated to be over 2,000 years old. The Red Hands Cave contains impressive
Aboriginal engravings and ochre hand markings made by the Guringai people, the
traditional owners of the land. Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park contains the
largest collection of Aboriginal art in the Sydney region with over 200 groups
of engravings identified.

Blue Mountains - Grand Canyon Walk
Distance: 6.3 km loop
Length of time: 3 to 4 hours
Located 90 minutes drive from Sydney is the Blue Mountains, a
popular destination with visitors. Considered the best scenic walk in the Blue
Mountains is the Grand Canyon Walk. It is challenging with steep sections
however it is well worth it with breath-taking hikes with its fantastic scenery
and stunning views. As you walk along the track, you get to see small
waterfalls, moss-covered rocks, ancient ferns, creeks, canyon walls and
sandstone cliffs. The Grand Canyon hike takes you through lush rainforest which
makes this walk perfect during warmer months.
