How can I delete my account?

Are you sure?! Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you to remain part of our amazing community!


If/when you are sure, then please see the explanations below on how to delete your account on different devices. 


Desktop

Please follow the following steps to delete your account on the desktop:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’ which you can find by clicking on your small round profile photo on the top right corner on the website. 
  2. Click on the ‘Delete Account’ tab to open this tab 
  3. Select the reason for deleting your account and fill up your password. 
  4. Click the green ‘Delete Account’ button to proceed. 
  5. A warning message will appear, asking you if you are sure you want to delete your account. If you are sure, click the green “Delete” button to delete your account. 


Mobile

Please follow the following steps to delete your account on the mobile:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’ which you can find by clicking the three horizontal lines on the top right corner on the mobile website. 
  2. Click on the ‘Delete Account’ tab to open this tab 
  3. Select the reason for deleting your account and fill up your password. 
  4. Click the green ‘Delete Account’ button to proceed. 
  5. A warning message will appear, asking you if you are sure you want to delete your account. If you are sure, click the green “Delete” button to delete your account. 


App

Please follow the following steps to delete your account on the app:

  1. Navigate to the 'Account' page located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  2. Tap on the 'Settings' tab.
  3. Click on the ‘Delete Account’ tab to open this page.
  4. Select the reason for deleting your account and fill up your password. 
  5. Click the green ‘Delete Account’ button to proceed. 
  6. A warning message will appear, asking you if you are sure you want to delete your account. If you are sure, click the green “Delete” button to delete your account. 


Regret deleting your account?

If your account has recently been deleted, you might still be able to restore your account. Try to log in to Abroadly with your details, and you will see a message saying you can recover your account.
